Playwork & Every Child Matters

Lesli Godfrey started her playwork career aged 18, as a holiday playscheme worker, and since then has continued working for children in a range of settings.

After gaining a DipHE in Playwork and a first class honours degree in adult and further education, she now works as the National Programme Manager for Playwork Education, Training and Qualifications with SkillsActive, the sector skills council for active leisure and learning, where she coordinates the development of qualifications for Playwork.
