Dr Pat Broadhead is Professor of Playful Learning at Leeds Metropolitan University. She began her career as a nursery nurse, going on to qualify as a teacher and work in early years and primary settings.
Her main research interests are around open-ended play in educational settings and she has also researched the development of children’s workforce.
